Within the organisation there are various degrees of closeness to the perimeter.


Within an organisation the distance to the actual perimeter of the organisation may vary for different people. Some are in de forefront of interaction, others play a more indirect role in defining the organisation in the outside world.

The human side of the border is built out off various layers of closeness. The shape of the layer varies between organizations due to their nature, function, vision and attitude.
