Insiders and outsiders meet. The figuration matters in the experience of the border.

>

One place where  actual and perceived borders materialise is in the meeting of the organisation with outsiders. This border is shaped numerous times and mostly without a conscious decision on how the figuration of the meeting shapes the intended border, the place where the interaction actually takes place.

The meeting as the intended materialization of the external shape of the organisation, is an interesting starting point for border design.
