Borders of organisations are about the cross-roads of people and the individual’s experience.

Design is always about the experience. The experience of using and seeing the physical artifact or undergoing the service, enjoying the play, hearing the music.

The border is about where people individually or as part of any kind of organisation physically or virtually meet and how that interaction is experienced in all its physical and emotional aspects.

The design of borders and thus organisations lies in shaping the repetitions of those  experiences, like the traffic on a cross-road.
