Me, myself and my (!,?) organisation. Is there a crisis of organisation?

Thinking about the border of organisation and its form and meaning, cannot be done without looking at the people that make up that organisation. The people that commit to its goals and represent it in one way or another in the outside world.

Increasingly people have new kinds of relationships with the organisation(s) they are connected with. Flexible, opportunistic, temporarily, partly, jointly, virtually, extremely.

It makes defining what an organisation is, more difficult. The contours become foggy and dissolvable. Is the notion of a border still valid? And if it is not, what is the contour that sets an organisation in its new definition apart from that what is not part of that newly defined organisation?
