The relevant boundaries of an organisation are also a matter of distance and perspective.

What people experience of an organisation varies. Partly because people vary, partly because what is experienced depends on where you stand. Different standpoints, give different perspectives.

What is perceived as a useful organisational entity for one person, can be a meaningless for another person. In that sense the boundary and thus the definition of an organisation and its entities are not fixed and require appropriate design approaches.
